Our yoga classes are focused on Ashtanga yoga which really ignites your POWER, develops physical strength, help you gain flexibility and balance your mind thus culminating in a beautiful holistic experience of yoga. The classes allow beginners and all levels to be challenged in the same class. You will practice in a spacious and normal warm temperature environment to get best results. Every yoga session starts with an ancient and very effective 10 steps sequential asanas combined with Vinyasa techniques followed by Physical Asanas, Pranayama and Mediation.
Asanas provides a bridge between our external focus and internal focus; because it allows us to start training our awareness by using our bodies. Physical yoga postures have a powerful effect on the body. They strengthen and stretch muscles, creating length and stability and promoting a healthy digestion.
Pranayama is the ancient practice of controlling our breath. The goal of pranayama is to connect our body and mind. It also supplies our body with oxygen while removing toxins. This is meant to provide healing physiological benefits.
Meditation is the deliberate focusing of attention to bring about feelings of calm and heightened energy and awareness. Our step by step mediation includes, guided meditation, mantra meditation, concentrating on the breath, looking at an object etc.
Yoga is not just for adults! In fact, it can give children very important life skills that can help them succeed in the world. Yoga is one form of practice which includes breath control and specific body postures (asanas), that provides a range of physical, spiritual and mental relaxation. When children are engaged, focused, having fun, while practicing yoga, they are in the present moment. This self-awareness of both body and mind helps children to be cautious in any situation.
